Yesterday, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Social Policy with UN Coordinator Alessandra Tisci.
UNDP aims to provide assistance in the development of countries in need: to improve infrastructure, share experience and necessary resources. The main task of the Resident Coordinator is to coordinate the work of UN agencies and international organizations to provide Ukraine with appropriate assistance aimed at promoting our country's path towards humanitarian, socio-political and economic development to global standards of democracy.
The issues of prospects for an integrated approach to solving gender equality problems were discussed - promoting gender equality through improving the legislative framework and introducing European standards of equality in the field of employment, as well as ensuring full respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms of all citizens of Ukraine.
