On October 14, a trilateral agreement was signed in Kyiv between the Government of Ukraine, the German bank KfW and the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund to provide a grant of 7 million euros to finance projects for the development of social infrastructure in the country.
The funds received will be used for the further implementation of the national project "Promoting the Development of Social Infrastructure". It provides for the financing of the social infrastructure development program in small towns and villages of our country. The project plans the reconstruction of social infrastructure facilities and the introduction of new, European quality standards for the provision of social services in rural areas.
The implementation of the "Promoting the Development of Social Infrastructure" project is not only financing of repair work in educational and medical institutions, reconstruction of local water supply and road systems, but also training of local authorities, the opportunity to solve local social problems, independently choosing the facilities that need reconstruction, as well as control the implementation of the project at all stages.
